Community
Neighbors, Not Just Clients
We live in the same places we work. This is a record of the people and causes we show up for.
HANCO was built by a family in Toccoa, and it's run by a family in Toccoa. When something happens to a neighbor, an employee, or a community we serve, we'd rather be part of the answer than talk about it much. We keep this page as a running record — short, honest, and occasionally updated.
Sign Up, and We'll Give to [NAME]'s Family

What Happened
[NAME], a member of the [COMMUNITY NAME] community, was seriously injured in [BRIEF DESCRIPTION]. The recovery ahead is long, and the costs that come with something like this — medical, lost income, the everyday things a family still has to handle — add up fast.
We're contributing directly to a fund set up for [NAME] and his family. And because many of our clients are their neighbors, we're giving the community a way to pitch in too.
How It Works
For every new service sign-up from a [COMMUNITY NAME] household between now and [END DATE], HANCO will contribute $[AMOUNT] to the family fund — on top of our direct gift.
You get the pest protection you were probably going to need anyway. The family gets help. Nothing fancy about it.
Sponsoring One of Our Own — The [RACE NAME] 5K
[YEAR]
Last year, one of our team members set out to run the [RACE NAME] 5K to benefit [CAUSE/ORGANIZATION]. We thought that was worth backing. HANCO covered their race fees, supplied a team shirt, and contributed to the cause they were running for.
It was a small thing. But we'd rather show up for the people who show up for our clients every day.

How We Pick
Local, Specific, and Personal
We're not set up to be a charity. We're a small family business, and we're careful about where our help goes. The ones that get our attention are usually close to home — an employee, a client's family, a small local group doing quiet work. We'd rather give meaningfully to a few than spread ourselves thin.
If you know of someone or something local that needs a hand, we're always listening.

Call either office, or send us a note. If it's a good fit, we'll figure out how to help.
